FALLDOWN MODE is a doujinshi circle (同人誌サークル) with two members (also called doujinka, 同人家) and we create fanfiction!

Our first work is It's Only You I Can't Escape, a multi-part dark Digimon Adventure 02 Takeru/Ken story. What happens when someone chases their worst impulses? Sometimes, all it takes is a little push...

This site is dedicated to our works and is also a Takeru/Ken (takeken, never kenkeru) ship shrine! Yes, the name order absolutely matters, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Our works are known for their dark themes and psychological complexity in an erotic context. I'd characterize them as erotic thrillers, but also of course thousands and thousands of words of porn at various levels of consensuality leaning towards the very much noncon side. A beautiful downward spiral of cruelty and suffering... Don't you just love the smell of a pretty boy's tears in the morning??

It's been a while! Moro here making the update; I've had a lot of health problems over the last couple of months and a scare with my beloved cat's health as well, so it's been slow going on the bonus story and print edition of It's Only You I Can't Escape, but it is not abandoned!

We have a few updates to make in the meantime, even if we don't yet have a link to order available.

First, to tide you wonderful people over until then, Sparrow has begun releasing the epilogue miniseries, with the first episode already posted! On the Works page Here. If you enjoyed the series and want to have your heart ripped out some more, please check it out! Those of you subscribed to us on AO3 may have already read it and received the notification, but in case you haven't done that yet, consider this your official notification!

But there's more - FALLDOWN MODE is pleased to announce the beginning of an ENTIRELY NEW TAKEKEN SERIES!! This is a spinoff of It's Only You I Can't Escape, set branched off after the first episode of that series, What You Deserve. This series will be in all respects a great deal "lighter" than the original it is a spinoff of, but if you enjoyed the original series, we believe you will enjoy this alternate "good path" as well! The first episode has likewise been posted and you can access it through the link on the Works page Here.

It's Only You I Can't Escape is finally complete!!! We can't express enough how much all you lovely freaks mean to us. It's been a hell of a journey over 2 whole years!

In addition, now that the series is complete, FALLDOWN MODE will be releasing a physical, printed edition in a very limited run! The print edition will have various small polishing and refinements done throughout, and gorgeous front and back cover illustrations never before released to the public! In addition, the print edition will feature an extracanonical omake found only in the print edition with a special treat for distinguished perverts. More details about the print edition will be revealed as it gets closer to completion, so stay tuned!

Do note that the original series will remain, always, free to read forever on Archive of Our Own. The print edition is a special release for our most dedicated fans, not us putting the story behind a paywall!!

Beyond the print edition of It's Only You I Can't Escape, we have plans for future works in the coming year. Stay tuned for updates and be sure to subscribe to both Lady of Sparrows and Moro on AO3 to be notified by email when new works are uploaded!
